DODBROOKE

DODBROOKE, at the head of the Salcombe estuary, forms part of the town of KINGSBRIDGE, with which it is described at a subsequent page. It had 1229 inhabitants in 1841, but comprises only 343A. 1R. 39P. of land. It has a cattle market on the third Wednesday of every month, and a fair on the Wednesday before Palm Sunday.
