The Report was received at the Association’s July 1904 Teignmouth meeting. It records several interesting notes and scraps of folk-lore received by the Committee since the last Association meeting. These relate first to a Raleigh legend and a legend of Bathe Pool. As well, there are notes on some interesting funeral customs from Morchard Bishop as well as reports of superstitions, strange cures and an Easter custom from Staverton. The report, from a copy of a rare and much sought-after journal can be downloaded from the Internet Archive. Google has sponsored the digitisation of books from several libraries. These books, on which copyright has expired, are available for free educational and research use, both as individual books and as full collections to aid researchers.
