Eighteenth Report (Third Series) of the Committee on the Climate of Devon.

Trans. Devon Assoc., 1900, Vol XXXII, pp. 74-82.

Edited by

Alfred Chandler, F.R. Met. Soc.,  and W. Ingham, C.E.

Prepared by Michael Steer

The Report was presented at the Association’s August 1900 Totnes meeting. It consisted of Meteorological Observations of Rainfall, Temperature, Humidity, Cloud, and Sunshine taken throughout Devon during 1899. Salcombe (Prawle Point) readings were not reported after June, the Meteorological Office having discontinued daily readings there. The Report, from a copy of a rare journal can be downloaded from the Internet Archive. Google has sponsored the digitisation of books from several libraries. These books, on which copyright has expired, are available for free educational and research use, both as individual books and as full collections to aid researchers.
