Leire is a parish and a village 4 miles north-northwest of Lutterworth. The parish covers just over 1,100 acres.

In the churchyard is a memorial, erected in 1921, to the men of the parish who fell in the Great War, 1914-18.
There is one Commonwealth War Grave in St. Peter's churchyard from World War One.
